‘Suriya’ and ‘Pooja Hegde’ Combo Film – “Retro”(Love Laughter War)

Suriya’s latest movie ‘Retro’ movie title teaser released with violent action scenes. Karthik Subbaraj is the director who worked on the film and the teaser looks excellent as it involves love, romance, violence, action, and bloodshed. Pooja Hegde will be the film’s main lead actress; her character looks innocent yet homely. The ‘Retro’ film producers are Jyotika and Suriya. The film releases in the summer season of 2025. “Retro” Teaser

The teaser started with both Suriya and Pooja Hegde sitting at the waterside and Pooja tying the bracelet to Suriya. The character played by Pooja Hegde in the film is entirely different when compared to other films but the film “Mukunda” adds some amount of the same character to it. She played the innocent character and did not talk much type person.

When he is talking there are some shady scenes shown that involve violent action and bloodshed scenes. He also says that he quits doing violence and tries to smile and be happy. It looks like there will be so many villain characters in the film. Prakash Raj, Nassar, and Sujith Shankar supported actors. The main concept of the film teaser is Suriya proposes to Pooja Hegde by promising to quit the violent character and telling her his pure intentions of love towards her. Then he asks for the marriage proposal and then she nods her head with a smile and then accepts the proposal.

The main leads are Suriya and Pooja Hegde. The other important characters are Joju George, Jayaram, Karunakaran, Prakash Raj, and Nassar. There was not shown much about the characters in the teaser. Only some part of it is shown where they are laughing in a cunning way of behaviour.

The other look is completely in a Gangster look where he is known for the violence and action scenes. The beginning look is that he was changed into a different person with a calm and decent appearance. His recent film ‘Kanguva’ which is available on Prime Video OTT Platform. This film is entirely of two different versions of Suriya one is the historical generation and the other is the current generation. Both are different kinds of characters and performed their best in the film.

About Heroine Pooja Hegde

Pooja Hegde had great charisma in the films and her dedication in giving her overall performance. Her famous films are DJ, Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, Maharshi, and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. From this film, we can observe her dedication to giving her best in the films. Also, she participated in the Miss Universe India pageant and going to that level was a proud moment. She also played guest role appearances in F3 and Rangasthalam. Even though she was there briefly, she made a small impact on those films.

In the ‘Retro’ teaser, after a love proposal by Suriya, Pooja kisses his forehead and then accepts his love proposal. The character she played is an innocent role and by the looks of her, she will do anything for him. Also, there are two upcoming films of her in 2025, Thalapathy 69 and Deva. This is her first film with Suriya and the innocent appearance with him in the teaser performed very well.

I am concluding with my version of the “Retro” teaser. The teaser and the performance of both lead roles are also excellent. The film is going to be a complete mass-action entertainer. I like the character of Pooja Hegde where there is less talk but more with her facial expressions. Coming to Suriya, he gave his best in the film and wanted to see some more about the Gangster Suriya in the upcoming trailer. The film will be available in theatres in the summer season and the film will be packed up with all emotions.
